Building Unity Through Dialogue

The Efrat Center for Mediation & Community Dialogue promotes mediation as a respectful and practical alternative to conflict. Through professional mediation services and educational programming, the Center supports individuals, families, schools, and community leaders in resolving disputes while strengthening trust and cooperation.

Working with trained mediators and volunteer community leaders, the Center addresses family disagreements, neighborhood disputes, business conflicts, and interpersonal challenges — helping prevent escalation while preserving long-term relationships.

Educating the Next Generation

The Center plays a critical role in Efrat’s educational ecosystem by introducing conflict-resolution skills at an early age. Programs implemented in local schools teach emotional intelligence, leadership, and responsible communication, preparing students to become thoughtful leaders and community builders.

Advancing the Foundation’s Mission

The Center directly advances the Efrat Development Foundation’s mission to strengthen Efrat as a resilient, united, and thriving community in the heart of Judea. By fostering respectful communication and social cohesion, the Center helps ensure that Efrat continues to grow as a model of modern Zionist community life.

Partnership & Donor Opportunities

Philanthropic support allows the Center to expand access to mediation services, train additional community mediators, and broaden educational programming for youth and families.

The post Efrat Center for Mediation & Community Dialogue first appeared on Efrat Development Foundation.

A Home for Those Who Defend the Jewish People

The Efrat Lone Soldiers Center will proudly bear the name of Sgt. Roey Weiser הי״ד, a beloved son of Efrat who fell defending the people of Israel on October 7, 2023.

Born to immigrant parents from the United States, Roey grew up in Efrat’s schools, synagogues, and neighborhoods. He embodied the very best of this community — humility, quiet strength, responsibility without recognition, and an unwavering love for Israel and the IDF.

Today, thousands of lone soldiers serve in Israel’s defense forces. Many face enormous challenges:

No family support during military service

Housing and financial instability

Emotional and psychological strain

Limited holiday and Shabbat support systems

Emergency needs without local safety nets

The Efrat Lone Soldiers Center will ensure that those who protect Israel are embraced by a community that protects them in return – transforming strangers into sons and daughters of the community.

Scope & Impact:

Emotional & logistical support systems

Holiday and Shabbat hosting

Emergency response and essential goods
